Application Requirements
Basic Requirements
- Participants must be willing to take main or secondary roles, and participate in chorus performances if necessary
- Commit to studying the opera and improving professional skills under the guidance of top industry professionals
- Selected participants must memorize their assigned roles and possible chorus parts
Application Materials
- Resume (including name, gender, place of birth, date of birth, email, voice type, selected role, and basic background)
- One full-body photo and one half-body photo
- One Italian aria (preferably from "Le Nozze di Figaro") and one art song, total duration not exceeding 15 minutes
Selection Process
- All roles will be assigned based on the jury's evaluation of submitted videos
- The jury will prioritize participants' preferred roles
- Selected participants must respond to the organization within one week of receiving the notification email to confirm their participation in all opera rehearsals and performances
Auditing Option
- Application Materials: Resume and an Italian aria video (approx. 5 minutes).
- Course Content: Includes one masterclass, all rehearsals, and studying a main role.
- Observe all masterclasses.
- Participate in the final performance as part of the chorus.
- Opportunity to perform as an understudy for a minor role if the main role performer cannot perform due to force majeure.
- Fee: 300 EUR.
2025 Turin Opera Festival Scholarship Program
Program Overview
- Objective: To support and nurture young opera singers and help them realize their artistic dreams
- Target Audience: Young opera singers aged between 18 and 30, no nationality limit
Types of Scholarships
- Partial Scholarship: Provides a monetary amount to help reduce the financial burden on the participants
Selection Criteria
- Artistic Performance: Applicants must submit a personal singing video, and judges will assess based on tone, technique, and expressiveness
- Creativity and Potential: Focus on the candidate's creativity and potential in the opera arts

- Performance Opportunities: Participate in actual performances during the festival, gaining stage experience

Important Notes
- Course duration is 12 days
- Participation fee: Main roles - €3000, Secondary roles - €2000 (including Don Basilio, Don Curzio, and Antonio)
- No fee is required for online audition application
- Participants must not miss any rehearsals during the festival
- Fee does not include airfare, accommodation, or transportation costs
- After confirming participation, participants must complete payment by May 1, 2025. If withdrawing for personal reasons (not including major illness or accidents), all fees are non-refundable
